Born and raised in the Greater Nanaimo area, Jamie has an intimate knowledge of the Central Vancouver Island area. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia (U.B.C.), and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, Jamie worked for the Prudential of America General Insurance in Burnaby. In 1992 Jamie completed the Real Estate course through U.B.C., and moved back to Nanaimo to embark on his Real Estate career. To be a successful REALTOR®, Jamie believes you have to offer a superior level of communication to every client. When working with clients who are buying a property he provides all listings available for sale. Through the use of Jamie’s Private Client Services website, he is able to email a client any new listing that matches their criteria, the moment it is entered on the MLS system. For those selling a property, he provides up to date marketing reports to keep his clients informed. Throughout the process he is constantly monitoring market trends and tracking recent sales. Jamie feels feedback is crucial in successfully selling a home. After a property is shown, Jamie follows up with the Seller to provide feedback from each showing. This allows the Seller an opportunity to adjust any features of the property in order to facilitate a sale.
